An Indian Wedding

As a makeup artist, every wedding I do presents a learning opportunity and a chance for me to grow as an artist and a human being. This particular wedding was a crash course in both of those things and an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.

I was given the opportunity to branch out creatively with colorful eyeshadows, dark eyeliner, and bright lip colors (a makeup artist’s dream) and to learn about the culture and tradition of an Indian wedding. The colors, the energy, and the tradition were captivating! Any words I use to describe this wedding will not do the things I saw or the people I met  justice. I will let these photos shot by Janoo Studio, one of the best Indian wedding photographers and cinematographers around the world,  do the talking. Products used on Damini mentioned at the end of the post.
